Description

Rani Pokhari is an artificial pond constructed by King Pratap Malla in the year 1670 for his beloved wife. Despite carrying historical importance the landmark reconstruction has been delayed multiple times and still under construction on the time of this publication. The situation mirrors the socio-political situation of the country and its effect on cultural/historical sites.
